The Transylvania Times is featuring a short series about the competitive grants that the Transylvania County Schools Educational Foundation (TCSEF) awards Transylvania County Schools’ teachers each year. This week’s grant was awarded to Rosman High School Health Sciences teacher Stephanie Ramsey for “Health Models for Teaching.”
Sweeping all their performance marks with Superior ratings, the BHS Chorus brought home an illustrious award. Ensemble and singers have enjoyed success this year, and are ready to prepare for more.
The inaugural meet on April 11, 2017, at the new Frank Patton Track will host teams from seven schools, including Brevard, Rosman, T.C. Roberson, and Swain County.
Rosman and Brevard FBLA both had students earns spots at nationals in Anaheim this summer, and a Tiger alum gave a short speech, having risen to president of PBL, the sister organization for college students.
Students from "TIME 4 Real Science" competed recently at state-level contests, with some earning coveted spots at national competitions. All represented well for Transylvania County and scientific inquiry.
