After the hustle and bustle of marching band and holiday concerts, student musicians shift to preparing for All-District auditions. Each one hopes to earn a chance to compete for one of the All-State Bands, and many local students will be performing this May due to their success. In both the middle and high school bands, a handful of musicians in each region may audition for a single All-State chair in some instruments. In other cases, hundreds might be vying for only 20 highly contested seats at the state level. These accomplished students have all practiced and performed at an incredibly high level throughout the school year, and they deserve hearty congratulations!
