Next Board Of Education Meeting December 17
Due to hazardous inclement weather, Transylvania County Schools WILL BE CLOSED for students and staff on Monday, December 10, 2018.
Monday will be an Annual Leave Day for staff. This is NOT a Virtual Day.
Widespread power outages and deep snow accumulation have made conditions difficult on the roads, in homes, and in our schools. There is strong potential for missing more than one day this week. It will be important for students to be able to charge devices and access information once power is restored.
Everyone is encouraged to remain safe and warm inside, and to avoid venturing out if at all possible.
In case of emergency, shelters are now open as many families wait for their power to be restored. First responders are checking in on our vulnerable neighbors, and transportation may be available to assist those in need.
