Brevard and Rosman High Schools are pleased to announce the induction of 69 students into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). The NTHS is an honor society that recognizes outstanding student achievement in technical education.
The newly inducted members have demonstrated exceptional performance and met rigorous criteria for induction. They have been recommended by two Career Technical Education (CTE) teachers, demonstrated strong character and leadership traits, and followed these rigorous academic standards:
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (unweighted).
• An active participant in a CTE Student Organization
• Completed a CTE career pathway
• An active participant in a Career Technical Education Student Organization
"We are extremely proud of our students who have been inducted into the National Technical Honor Society," said Kerry Putnam, Director of Career and Technical Education. "Their dedication to technical education and their commitment to academic excellence is truly inspiring."
The NTHS provides students opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and career advancement. Members are also eligible for scholarships, recognition, and networking opportunities.
Family, friends, and members of the school community were in attendance to celebrate the achievements of these outstanding students.
