Friday, March 27, is Virtual Day #11 for all students.
Elementary families, learning packets will be available for pickup at your child’s school between 8 am and 4 pm on Friday. We also encourage elementary families to check for detailed messages from your school about how Chromebooks are coming home as well.
Today, we delivered over 1,350 meals thanks to our new school and community pickup sites. During the summer, we often serve up to 400 meals a day, so thank you to our School Nutrition and Transportation teams for this huge effort to provide for local families.
Remember, meals are available Monday through Friday for any children in the community age 18 and under, and children do not need to be present; the USDA is an equal opportunity provider.
Meals are ready for grab-and-go pickup from 10 am to 12 pm at Brevard High, Brevard Middle, Rosman Middle, and T.C. Henderson Elementary. We have bus stops in Brevard, Pisgah Forest, Rosman, Lake Toxaway, and areas across Transylvania County. Visit the
district website or
download the mobile app for the full schedule.
Our plans for blended learning and food delivery have come together to help us make the very best of the next several weeks. Thank you to our students, our families, our educators, and those in the community who have all banded together to make this transition as smooth as it could possibly be.
Teaching everyone really does take everyone.
Continue to check for information from
Transylvania Public Health, and visit the websites for your school and the district, to make sure you stay up to date. We hope you have a good night!
