Mrs. Campbell’s Class
Please look over your child’s graded papers and work with them on any of the assignments that he or she did not do well. This is a great review for your child and will help them practice the skills we are learning in class. Please speak to your child about making sure they are completing and turning in any unfinished work.
5/24- Science EOG Test
5/28- Memorial Day- No School
5/31- Reading EOG Test
6/1- Math EOG Test
6/7- DARE Graduation & Last Day of School 12:00 Dismissal
* Calendars MUST be signed everyday indicating that you have seen your child’s sticker or behavior note and their homework.
* Participating in the Muddy Sneakers’ Program costs the school $10 per student per trip. If you have not already, please send in any contributions towards your child’s cost that you can.
* Please start looking for any school or classroom items that may have found their way home and return them to school. Thank you!!!
Math- We are reviewing our work on measurement, fractions, decimals, data analysis, algebra, and geometry.
Science- We are reviewing our work with Body Systems, Genetics, Forces & Motion, Weather, Ecosystems, Matter, and Energy.
As we approach the end of the year, please be sure to emphasize the importance of staying focused and maintaining a positive attitude towards learning. Also, please take some time to look through your child’s graded papers to review any concepts in which they are having difficulty.If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. This is my tenth year of teaching Fifth Grade at Brevard Elementary School. I taught Third Grade for three years beforehand, one year in North Carolina and two years in Florida. I enjoy hiking, reading, and spending time with my family.
