Mrs. Grosvenor

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

As we prepare to ship off into a wonderful new year I wanted to take a moment to do a small introduction of myself to those who may not know me. This is my 14th year teaching 3rd grade at Brevard Elementary School. Brevard Elementary is a school I truly believe in. I have enjoyed teaching and learning with many phenomenal children during my journey and I am looking forward to getting to know your child on this next journey.

I am originally from Memphis, TN and moved to Brevard in 2003. I attended Memphis State University (currently called University of Memphis) and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Education Degree PreK-4th

My husband is the Chef/Manager at Key Falls Inn Bed and Breakfast in Pisgah Forest. This is a family business and I enjoy helping out during the summer with our guests. I have two wonderful boys. Brayden is 11 and Jake is 8. Jake attends Brevard Elementary and Brayden is at Brevard Middle. Both are the sunshine in my life. We enjoy hiking, white water rafting, listening to music, and traveling to new and exciting places when possible. I enjoy traveling and have recently discovered the love of Zip lining! I also enjoy camping with my family and friends, reading, Sushi, Mocha Frappuccino’s, and of course teaching math.

I am truly honored to have your child in class this year. Should you have any questions or concerns as we move through this journey please do not hesitate to contact me.
