I am the daughter of a retired TCS teacher so education has always been in my blood. After teaching one year at North Stanley High School, I returned to Brevard College as the "word processing" expert. During my time there I served as Computer Center Manager, Administrative Software Manager, Assistant Professor of Business & Organizational Leadership, and Registrar. Several summers I taught courses for teachers to earn CEUs and taught in the Adventure of the American Mind program.   I felt led to return to the classroom and in January 2012 I had the opportunity to return to my alma mater BHS where I taught web design and Microsoft Office applications. In October 2014, I began work as the Instructional Technology Facilitator at BMS.

I’m a firm believer that technology, when used the right way, can empower students, make teachers' lives easier, and fundamentally change education for the better. I value the opportunity to work with the staff and students of BES to integrate technlogy into the classroom.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, walking my dog, and working with preschoolers at church. I have been married to David for 32 years and we have a daughter, Emily (a former student at BES), who works for Compassion International in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
