Substitute Teacher Incentive

How Does the Substitute Teacher Incentive Program Work?

Each month Human Resources will run a job report to see how many days each substitute teacher has worked for the pay period. The following breakdown in incentive pay is paid out each month in addition to the regular daily rate.

  • 5 Completed Days – For each substitute teacher that completes at least five days in one pay period, a $50 bonus will be awarded to that substitute teacher.
  • 10 Completed Jobs – For each substitute teacher that completes at least ten days in one pay period, a $100 bonus will be awarded to that substitute teacher.

When Can I Expect the Additional Pay?

The bonus will appear on the paycheck following that period. For example, a substitute teacher who completes five days for the pay period beginning in February will receive their incentive on their paycheck in March.
This program is ongoing, and you are eligible to earn your incentive every month.
