Tuition Reimbursement
Transylvania County Schools provides a process for licensed employees to receive support in defraying the costs associated with tuition expenses for obtaining advanced degrees or certifications. The policy file itself as well as the tuition reimbursement request form are both linked below. Funds from the district's Title II-Part A "Improving Teacher Quality" grant are used to provide nearly $30,000 per year to support this program that values and supports the professional growth of our employees.
2023-24 Due Dates
Summer Courses (taken during May-August): Submit by September 15, 2023
Fall Semester 2023: Submit by January 16, 2024
Spring Semester 2024: Submit by June 13, 2024
