Tuition Reimbursement

Transylvania County Schools provides a process for licensed employees to receive support in defraying the costs associated with tuition expenses for obtaining advanced degrees or certifications. The policy file itself, as well as the tuition reimbursement request form, are both linked below. Funds from the district's Title II-Part A "Improving Teacher Quality" grant are used to provide nearly $30,000 per year to support this program that values and supports the professional growth of our employees.

2026-27 Due Dates
Summer Courses (taken during May-August): Submit by September 30, 2026
Fall Semester 2026: Submit by January 22, 2027
Spring Semester 2027: Submit by June 11, 2027
