TCS teachers and administrators recently attended a workshop at the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. This nonprofit middle school shares innovative strategies to improve student motivation and engagement as well as current math and reading trends to boost student performance.
This workshop was funded by the Gear Up grant, which lasts in Transylvania County Schools for the next seven years. Gear Up will provide opportunities for students and staff in grades 6-12, focused on post secondary plans for Education, Employment, or Enlistment.
