Transylvania County Schools is excited to announce its new Director of Technology, Blake Tesnow. Blake is a sixth-generation native of Transylvania County and a proud graduate of Rosman High School. He earned a B.S.B.A. in Computer Information Systems from Western Carolina University. After graduation, Blake worked at a private university before returning home to join Transylvania County Schools. He brings over 14 years of progressive experience in the technology field and Blake says, "I am extremely excited for the opportunity to lead such an efficient and talented team."
Blake and his wife, Chelsea, have two children. "Outside of work, you’ll find me cheering at the softball field, spending time with family and friends, or fishing at the lake" says Tesnow.
