Dozens of Biltmore Church volunteers worked alongside school staff this weekend to complete beautification projects at T.C. Henderson School of Science & Technology, Pisgah Forest Elementary School and Brevard Elementary School ahead of the new school year.
"We thank Biltmore Church for their continued support of our school!" said Brevard Elementary School Principal Michael Kirst.
The volunteer effort was part of the church's Summer Serve program. Volunteers completed the following work:
Installed fresh sand on playground areas
Removed weeds from landscaped areas
Trimmed bushes and maintained greenery
Added mulch to garden beds
Applied fresh paint to various areas
"Also, thank you as well to our many former T.C. Henderson or Rosman High students and other Church members that showed up to help out. Thank you all! Campus looks great," T.C. Henderson Principal Patrick Chapman said.
Our students will return to an even more beautiful learning environment thanks to these generous volunteers.
