The Transylvania County Schools Educational Foundation proudly hosted its recent Create.Build.Shine Student Showcase, an inspiring evening dedicated to celebrating the creativity, talent, and hard work of students across the district. The event brought together families, educators, and community members to experience an incredible display of student art, music, CTE projects (Career and Technical Education) and culinary creations from all nine Transylvania County Schools.
From visual art exhibits to live performances and student-prepared foods thanks to Rosman High School and Brevard High School Culinary students, the showcase highlighted the depth of talent and innovation happening in Transylvania County classrooms. The Foundation is incredibly proud of all of the students who performed, sharing their creativity and passion for music with the community including:

Brevard Elementary School Music Department
Rosman Middle & High School Strings
Brevard High Concert Chorus
Brevard High Jazz Band
The success of the event was made possible through the support of many, including parents, caregivers, teachers, community members, and dedicated volunteers who gave their time and energy to bring the evening to life. Special thanks go to First Citizens Bank and McNeely’s/Ace Hardware in Brevard for their generous support and partnership.

The Create.Build.Shine Student Showcase reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting programs that enrich education and provide opportunities for students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
