The Board of Education hosted the TC Scholar Banquet yesterday evening to celebrate the highest achievement recognized by TCS. These students are on track to graduate or will graduate as TC Scholars, with a GPA of 3.5 unweighted and 3.8 weighted! Many of the seniors also received scholarships to further their educational journey. Last week, PFE music was blessed with a donation of 25 Ukuleles from Sims Music and SC SoundBites, a nonprofit providing access to instruments. On Friday, the Rosman High School Occupational Course of Study students held a Trout Release in conjunction with the RootEd Community Learning Expo at Champion Park. The students raised trout in the classroom through Trout Unlimited and teamed up with WNC RootEd to enhance the experiential learning process by having several local businesses and organizations set up with related educational outreach activities and information for the students and other community members.
