Last week, PFE music was blessed with a donation of 25 Ukuleles from Sims Music and SC SoundBites, a nonprofit providing access to instruments. Last night, TCS honored the 2024-25 Retirees and Of the Year recipients in the first annual Legacy Banquet. The night was filled with appreciation for the legacy that educators leave on students and the community. On Friday, the Rosman High School Occupational Course of Study students held a Trout Release in conjunction with the RootEd Community Learning Expo at Champion Park. The students raised trout in the classroom through Trout Unlimited and teamed up with WNC RootEd to enhance the experiential learning process by having several local businesses and organizations set up with related educational outreach activities and information for the students and other community members. Students learned about the river, water quality, conservation and employment in this area. #TCSYes #TeachingEveryoneTakesEveryone

At last night's TCS board meeting, students were recognized for their acceptance into NC Governor's school. This is an application process for different disciplines and a distinguished honor that was explained by AIG specialist, Mrs. Bullock.
