
Transylvania County Schools Menu for Monday and Tuesday-- then Thanksgiving Break!


The Brevard High School Football Team had pep rallies at Pisgah Forest Elementary, Brevard Elementary and Middle Schools last Friday. There were lots of signs, cheers and excitement for the players, band and cheerleaders. They are headed to a 2nd round playoff game tonight-- Go Big Blue!

Global Education Week Continued: DRS teachers Ms. Fehn and Ms. Margolin created a museum display at school to show some of their family artifacts that included ancestors from Russia and Germany. The students are reading Night; Elie Weisel's memoir about his experience during the holocaust. #TCSYes






TCS Nutrition department offered Thanksgiving to students and staff yesterday! It was Delicious!!






Global Education Week continues with students learning about other places/cultures through ART! Rosman middle schoolers made Asian Mandalas and Brevard middle schoolers made Venetian face masks. #TCSYes



Today BHS senior Emma Powell signed to play volleyball at Ferrum College! Congrats!

Global Education Week continues with a throwback to September at Pisgah Forest Elementary-- they held a Hispanic Heritage night where students got to try food, make crafts and do games from several Latin Countries. #TCSYes

Its Global Education Week! This is an annual event that takes place in the third week of November to raise awareness about the power of global education. The week is a call to action to use global education to create a more sustainable and equitable world. Students enjoy learning about other cultures, history and how we are all connected! Today's feature is Brevard Middle School Chorus learning a song in Swahili!

Rosman Middle School offered incentives for honor roll and good attendance this first 9 weeks of school-- donuts and ice cream-- Yum!











TCS County office had its first Chili Cookoff-- and principals got to judge after their meeting. Great weather for some soup competition!

Rosman Middle School hosted a student/staff volleyball game and students cheered on peers and teachers-- all Tigers!









Veteran's Day Recognition held at RMS/RHS with TCS MJROTC cadets. The cadets celebrated the Marine Corps birthday with cake, as well as Veteran's Day and students thanked veterans after the ceremony, including some TCS employee veterans. #TCSTogether
